Fall's Biggest Trends, All in One Place

This is the edit for when you want to look current without spending three hours scrolling. Right now that means animal print in bold, graphic silhouettes, a sporty girl edit that goes well beyond stripes, and menswear-inspired pieces with enough femininity to feel like yours. The four trends here are distinct enough to suit different personalities but connected enough that pieces from one play well with another. Think a spotted midi dress one day, a rugby stripe top tucked into wide-leg trousers the next.

Animal Print, the Sporty Girl Edit, and Menswear Shirts: How to Wear Them Now

Animal print is the one pattern that reads as a neutral when you commit to it, pair a spotted top with dark denim and a crossbody and call it done. The sporty girl edit is having a serious fall moment, and stripes are just the entry point, wide-leg trousers and sweatshirt silhouettes belong here too. The rugby stripe top works with straight jeans and loafers if you want low-key, or under a blazer if you want to push it further. The menswear pieces, think plaid, striped poplin shirts, and an oversized blazer, are the ones worth building around, because they anchor any outfit that needs to look intentional without trying too hard. The Amour sweatshirt is the sporty girl edit's wild card: wear it with wide-leg pants when you want something that feels relaxed but still put-together.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you style animal print without it feeling like too much?

Let the print be the statement and keep everything else quiet. A spotted dress or top pairs well with solid black, deep brown, or dark denim so the pattern does the work without competing with anything else.

Can rugby stripe tops actually look polished, or do they always read as casual?

They can absolutely read as polished with the right pairing. Layer a rugby stripe top under a structured blazer or tuck it into tailored trousers and the sporty element becomes intentional rather than accidental.

What makes menswear-inspired pieces worth buying for fall specifically?

Menswear fabrics and silhouettes like plaid and striped button-downs tend to hit their stride in fall, when layering is part of the equation. An oversized blazer or a poplin shirt in a classic stripe works as a standalone piece or an open layer over a fitted turtleneck as the weather shifts.

How do you mix more than one fall trend in one outfit without it looking chaotic?

Pick one trend as the focal point and let the other play a supporting role. A menswear striped shirt worn open over a solid fitted top, for example, keeps the look cohesive while giving you two trend moments in the same outfit.

Are wide-leg pants from the sporty girl edit hard to style if you're petite?

The key is proportion: a cropped or tucked top with wide-leg pants creates a clear waistline that keeps the silhouette from overwhelming a shorter frame. A heel or even a platform sneaker adds just enough length to make the wide leg feel balanced rather than oversized.

Which of these fall trends is the most wearable if you're buying just one piece?

The menswear shirt is the easiest entry point because it slots into what you already own. A striped poplin or plaid button-down works over a dress, tucked into jeans, or knotted at the waist, so it earns its place in the rotation fast.
