About the Area

Green Oak Village Place is a hybrid retail and lifestyle center spanning approximately 550,000 square feet with more than 40 stores and services anchored by a strong mix of national retailers. Opened in October 2006, the center draws shoppers from across Livingston County as well as western Oakland County and northern Washtenaw County, serving communities including Brighton, Howell, South Lyon, Milford, Hartland, Fenton, and the greater Ann Arbor and Novi areas. Its direct access to US-23 and proximity to the I-96 interchange make it one of the most accessible retail destinations in southeast Michigan outside of the Detroit metro core. The center's park-like grounds, featuring fountains, ponds, an outdoor fireplace, and landscaped walkways, give it a distinctive character that sets it apart from traditional enclosed malls.

Brighton is a welcoming city in Livingston County, roughly 45 miles northwest of Detroit, and serves as the commercial and cultural hub for a growing region of southeast Michigan. The area draws residents who appreciate a blend of small-town charm, access to outdoor recreation, and proximity to major metro amenities. The Brighton area's strong household incomes and active community of professionals, families, and active adults make it an ideal home for LOFT, which offers the range of styles and sizes that today's women need for work, weekends, and everything in between.
